We wrapped up the annual DYNE TYME Conference, a three-day event held at the Oaklawn Resort in Hot Springs, AR, where DYNE’s Operations & Support leaders joined the DYNE Development Team. The event was kicked off by Co-CEO Nick Crouch and COO Melissa Jackson.
This year’s conference theme was “Running Towards Greatness: Consistency in Every Mile.” The event featured a blend of insightful sessions, engaging discussions, and plenty of celebrations. It wasn’t all business; the team enjoyed activities such as watching the horse races, participating in a golf simulation, trying their hand at axe throwing, and attending DYNE Well events that included yoga and morning walks with Glen and Nick. Attendees also took a moment to reflect on the successes of 2024 while sharing their goals for 2025.
On Day 1, we had the privilege of hearing from keynote speaker Jim Domanic, VP of Hospitality at Blackberry Mountain, who delivered an inspiring message focused on the pursuit of excellence. On Day 2, Glenn McCraken, founder and president of The Tov Life and SparkFit, shared an impactful message about self-discipline and the importance of routines, emphasizing the need for balance in our lives. The conference also included sessions led by our VP of HR, Tiffany Curry, VP of Training Development, Cheryl Switters, and COO, Melissa Jackson, including a session titled “No Finish Line.”
A highlight of the conference was the awards ceremony, expertly hosted by DYNE’s Leadership Team. The 4 Core Value Awards were given to individuals who truly embody DYNE’s culture and values:
- Invest in People – Awarded to Jeff Bolling
- Understand Why – Recognizing Cheryl Switters
- Make Smart Decisions – Honoring Victoria Montgomery
- Make it Happen – Acknowledging the efforts of Michael Anderson
The most honorable recognition, the Culture Champion Award, was presented to Karen Holerud. Her unwavering commitment and dedication to DYNE truly inspire everyone, as she continually goes above and beyond, embodying what our culture is all about.
To add some humor to the evening, Steve Anderson and Tom Torpey hosted the DYNE Boom Roasted segment—a fun spin on superlatives that had everyone laughing. The room was filled with joy as team members celebrated each other’s unique qualities and quirks.
As we move forward, the theme “Running Towards Greatness” will guide us as we strive to elevate our efforts from good to great. Together, we will continue to foster the dedication and spirit that define the DYNE family, lighting the way for a successful and exciting 2025!
