On Giving Tuesday 2024, a fantastic event unfolded as Tropical Smoothie Cafe and DYNE Hospitality Group, hosted in collaboration with the Jacksonville Jaguars. A thrilling Belly Flop Competition for a Cause took place at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe Spa Cabanas within the Jaguar football stadium. Three passionate volunteer belly floppers represented distinct charities – Lift for Life Academy, Four One For All, and Logan Cooke Foundation/Down Syndrome Connection of NW Arkansas. Jaguars players Roy Robertson-Harris, K’Lavon Chaisson, and Director of Player Engagement & Youth Football, Marcus Pollard, served as coaches to the competing belly floppers. Winners were determined via Instagram fan voting on Giving Tuesday, resulting in a generous $50,000 donation from Tropical Smoothie Cafe.
During the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New York Jets game on December 15th, DYNE Hospitality Group’s Co-CEO, Nick Crouch alongside his daughter Isabella presented a remarkable $25,000 check to Lift for Life, declared as the victors of the Belly Flop Competition for a Cause! The runner-up, Four One For All, received a commendable $15,000, while the third-place holder, Logan Cooke Foundation/Down Syndrome Connection of NW Arkansas was honored with a $10,000 check from Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Heartfelt appreciation to the Jacksonville Jaguars for their outstanding partnership and the incredible opportunity to support three exceptional local organizations. Go Jags!
